PTO has numerous fundraisers throughout the year to provide scholarships to our student who are involved with PTO but we also help provide things for the teachers and students. Last year picnic tables were provided at the High School campus for the staff to enjoy at lunch time. This year we have took a survey from teachers and things they would like PTO to provide (we are still waiting for some responses).
We have sold shirts, snacks, and Santa pictures. We do the HO HO Holiday shop in December and we just had our first "penny war" which was a huge turnout the winning class received a ice cream bar party during their recess.
Next we will be doing Valentine grams, a dance TBD, and pictures with the Easter bunny.
We have had great volunteers this year which have been able to treat the staff with an apple bar in October and soup bar in November. I have heard something is in the works for staff during January but I do not know the details.
Our PTO Consist of Jaimee West – President, Myself – VP, Mrs. Tripp – Treasurer, and Jackie Cryer – Secretary.
Meagan Parks is a big part of our PTO even though she isn’t on our board, she goes above and beyond along with Brittany Renfro.
