Safety/Security Page

We in the process of obtaining a $200,000 safety grant from TEA to ensure our fences, door closures, windows, and other areas are even more secure with the help from this grant. 

We have also received the SPAT Grant for silent panic buttons. 

We participate in Crime Stoppers at the district in conjunction with Angelina County Crime-stoppers. 

Our Chief of Police is Harold Rapsilver. His duties range from morning traffic and afternoon traffic duty, monitoring doors, cameras, parking lot, campus perimeter sweeps, interacting with students and staff, and assisting administration when appropriate.

We also were awarded a perfect score on the TEA/Texas School Safety Center Security Audit performed by Region 7 -

We continue to monitor all doors and closely manage Vape Detectors. We are currently working towards meeting the requirements of TEA's new safety grant and Silent Panic Alert technology.
